Our story

How a small idea became a twenty-year publication.

The Golf Almanac began with a simple idea: that the best way to reach country club members was to give them something genuinely worth reading. For more than twenty years, that idea has held.

We are a national golf magazine, published in regional editions and distributed through pro shops at over 1,800 country clubs across the country. Each edition is built around its market, with PGA-authored articles, player profiles, golf and lifestyle content, and the trusted local businesses our readers turn to. The magazine is made to be picked up between rounds, carried in a bag, and kept on the table at home, not glanced at once and tossed.

In two decades of publishing, we have earned the endorsement of two past PGA of America Presidents and the trust of PGA professionals nationwide, several of whom write for our pages. That trust is the foundation of everything we do. It is also why so many of our advertisers stay with us year after year, edition after edition.

We are a hands-on, relationship-driven publication based in Boca Raton, Florida. We design our advertisers' ads ourselves, stay close to every market we serve, and treat each business in our pages as a long-term partner rather than a transaction. That is how a publication earns twenty years of trust, and it is how we intend to earn the next twenty.

How we work

Three things we do not compromise on.

01

Magazine first.

The advertising lives inside an editorial product, not the other way around. PGA-authored articles, player profiles and tour coverage are what make readers pick up the issue. Your ad benefits from that attention.

02

Design included.

We build our advertisers' ads ourselves at no additional cost. Most ads are ready within twenty-four hours. The full turnaround is one to three business days, with revisions handled in-house.

03

Relationships, not transactions.

We stay close to every market we serve. Eighty percent of advertisers renew year after year, edition after edition. That is what twenty years of trust looks like.
